The June Exhibition has a tradition dating back to the establishment of Kunstnerforbundet. The June Exhibition 2025, titled 'Her i vår nødvendighet' (Here in our necessity) presents works that illuminate the interaction between process and product, between the ongoing and the finished. It challenges a traditional distinction between artist and artwork and proposes craft as an integrated practice where lived experience and process are an inseparable, actively present part of the artwork.

Eight artists participate in all of the gallery's exhibition rooms: Freja Burgess, Sigrid Espelien, Jad El Khoury, Torbjørn Kvasbø, Erlend Leirdal, Unn Sønju, Camilla Edström Ödemark and Ella Aandal.

The June Exhibition 2025 is Kunstnerforbundet's contribution to NK50, the 50th anniversary of Norske Kunsthåndverkere.

The exhibition opens on May 22 and runs until June 29, 2025.
