Karen Kviltu Lidal works with weaving, performance, installation and drawing, with textile as her main reference point. Through the weave, Lidal explores the interaction between thought, logic and bodily experience, and how architecture relates to the body, to gender, to the individual, and the social.

Lidal’s exhibition at Kunstnerforbundet shows a series of sculptures in the shape of large wooden frames, with and without hand woven tapestries, placed around the room.
