Talk and tour: “The Anatomy of Prejudice" with Thierry Geoffroy / Colonel
Thierry Geoffroy / ColonelHow do prejudices arise? How do they spread? Join us inside the exhibition “Typical” for an evening of conversation and a guided tour with artist Thierry Geoffroy / Colonel.
For more than 40 years, artist Thierry Geoffroy aka Colonel has worked with themes such as prejudice, stereotypes, and how we perceive “the others.” His work is now collected in the book A Propulsive Retrospective, and this evening, you will meet him in the exhibition “Typical". There will be a guided tour, a conversation with the artist, and critical dance.
In the work The Anatomy of Prejudice, a central part of the exhibition, he explores how prejudice manifests in everyday life. In the installation The Jungle, thousands of students have shared their own experiences and prejudices over the past seven years. We will take a closer look at the works and hear the artist’s own thoughts and reflections.
Light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to everyone. Welcome!
