Untangling Cobwebs: Who Gets To Belong?

Aidan Moesby, Outi Salonlahti, Scott William Raby
  • 13:00
    15:00

The systemic barriers that face neurodiverse artists and cultural workers make it harder to access education and opportunities, build networks, participate in cultural life, and achieve recognition for one’s work. Handling Cobwebs takes a poetic approach to explore some of these barriers through works by neurodiverse artists. As part of the exhibition, artist and curator Aidan Moesby hosts an afternoon of conversations around the wider issues of neurodiversity in the cultural sector, asking: How can cultural organisations better support neurodivergent artists? Moesby will be in conversation with Outi Salonlahti (Culture for All, Finland), Scott William Raby (artist and board member of UKK – Young Artists and Cultural Workers, Denmark) and Miriam Wistreich (Director of UKS).
