Neurodivergent / Funkis Cultural Workers Forum is a monthly open meeting offering space to discuss whatever might be on your mind as a neurodivergent/funkis person working in the arts. The group is open and friendly. The meetings are held in UKS’ kitchen, outside of opening hours, so we have the house to ourselves.

In this meeting we will hear from Chair of UKS, Ragnhild Aamås, and UKS Director Miriam Wistreich, who will talk and answer questions about the reality of life and work as an artist. We will also get started on writing funding applications for programming that we want to curate together, and we will discuss how to host a monthly open office at UKS. We end our meetings by collecting suggestions for topics for the next meeting and have a social gathering at the bar next door, if that’s your thing.

The forum is a democratic, open, safe(r) space with collective care at its heart.
