Be My Guest is an informal and open-hearted dinner event, in which artists share their work and thoughts over a creative home-cooked meal.

In 2010, Evo Morales, the first Indigenous president of the plurinational state of Bolivia, visited Sametinget in Karasjok to build bonds and discuss the shared challenges of Indigenous people. Inspired by that meeting, El Faro – represented by Vicente Mollestad and Cristal Melby – and artist Raisa Porsanger invite you to a shared Bolivian/Sámi-inspired meal, created as an exchange between Indigenous artists from the Global South and Sámi traditional territory. Over dinner we continue the conversation started in 2010 and try to imagine how to operate and exist in the art world.
