NORSK NATUR frames artistic reflections and comments on changing perception of natural landscapes and ecosystems, and how this is related to economy and state institutions. The title suggests a particular type of nature, one that is owned and defined by a nation state. Yet, the works in the exhibition are not all about Norwegian nature or landscape per se, but seeks to highlight general considerations on the interrelatedness of “nature”, earth systems and social systems.
