Starting Thursday 23 June, “Kaia Hugin: Motholic Mobble 3/8/11” is exhibited at Deichman Bjørvika.
The term Motholic Mobble was introduced in 2008 by Hugin as a title for a series of video-performances. The term is constructed by the artists and is derived from the word “motility”, which in physics and medicin refers to the “capacity of automatic or spontaneous movement”. “Mobble” is like a visual chatter; something incoherent, without purpose or goal.
