In 2022, the Oslo Municipality Art Collection invited Tenthaus Art Collective to carry out the art project Stedsveven, which explores three urban spaces in Oslo over time: Gartnerløkka, Kolstadgata, and Rudolf Nilsens plass, and the possible connections between them.
The project includes several phases and a range of artistic dimensions, including temporary events and permanent installations. The aim is to develop an art project grounded in knowledge of the places; one that collaborates with the local community and engages multiple artists, cultural practitioners, and artistic expressions.
Over an extended period, Tenthaus Art Collective has explored, and continues to explore, these sites through diverse methodologies. We now share these threads before they are woven together.
