Welcome to Networks of Circatidal Earth Bodies, a live audio essay by Signe Liden.

Signe Lidén works with the phenomenon of tidal earth; periodic deformations of the partially elastic earth's crust caused by the gravitational attraction of celestial bodies. Through recordings from an Arctic fiber cable and an earth drill microphone placed deep in the beach sand at Castro Marim, the audience will be taken on a quest for frequencies that move the earth's crust and make mountains sway.

The event will be in Norwegian.

The event is part of the mediation program of the exhibition THE TIDES MAKE MOUNTAINS SWAY AND THE SCENT OF PINE CAN CREATE RAIN. The event is free, open to everyone and requires no registration.
