Formskifter brings together the entire faculty of graphic design and illustration at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts in a joint artistic development project. The project examines changes in publishing and how this affects education in our disciplines.

Formskifter is part of the ROM Studio format, where work in progress is shared with the public. The first studio, Desk (November 2024), showed the project in its early stages. Here, the participants presented their sub-projects at their respective desks, in parallel with the production of a newspaper. Formskifter Bulletin No. 1 was launched in August 2025.
