Her Majesty Queen Sonja has collected art and artware since her teens, something she describes as an important and indispensable part of life. Many of the works are important elements in the interiors of the Royal residences.

The exhibition Open Doors shows more than 100 works by 50 artists. It invites the audience to experience close at hand this varied and highly personal collection of art and artware, collected by the Queen herself through a long life.

Curator: Sune Nordgren.
