Held in English | Free and open to all | No step-free access

Join us at PRAKSIS as artists in residence Anastasia (A) Alevtin (FI) and Sabīne Šnē (LV) will give a short introduction to their individual practices and their developing plans for the residency, followed by informal discussion and Q&A. All are welcome.

Sabīne Šnē (she) is a Latvian visual artist and educator who explores relationships between humans and the more-than-human, focusing on how organisms and elements sustain life on Earth and how they are affected by resource exploitation and extraction.

Anastasia (A) Alevtin (they/them) is a Helsinki-based transdisciplinary artist and researcher. Their work inquires into fleeting doings-in-common and stubborn practices of nonapparent subversion improvised against disabling and debilitating norms and is shaped by an ecological perspective.
