Polymorf

Emil Khoury (f. 1986) , Arne Sigmund Skeie (f. 1983)
  • Closed

The exhibition is based on themes related to complexity and variation in nature. The works explore the relationship between movement and stillness, regularity and unpredictability. The exhibition features a new series of paintings on canvas.
Artistic practice:
Skurktur is a collaboration between Emil Khoury (b. 1986) and Arne Sigmund Skeie (b. 1983). They both studied in the master's program in industrial design at NTNU in Trondheim. Today, they live and work in Oslo.
As Skurktur, they work at the intersections of art, design, and illustration. Detailed ink drawings form the cornerstone of their work. These drawings are often thematically connected to metamorphosis in nature, with forms inspired by marine life, insects, and the plant kingdom as recurring elements. Skurktur has designed projects including posters, album covers, graphic prints, and decorations.
