In collaboration with Trondheim Kunstmuseum and Torpedo, Oslo Kunstforening invites you to the launch of Water is a Time Machine by Brazilian artist Aline Motta. Through this project, which includes a video and a performance, Motta explores water’s role as a carrier of memory, history, and identity. Drawing from her own cultural heritage, she weaves together fragments of archival material with the stories of her foremothers, intertwining personal loss with the history of slavery and its lasting traces in contemporary Brazil.
