Jennie Bringaker has been invited to develop a solo-exhibition at Nitja Centre for Contemporary Art. In recent years, she has established her artistic practice with distinctive signature works made of stone and clay. Many might recognise her archaic and somehow naive sculptures that present female figures with staring eyes, children-creatures and symbolics of the human cycle’s fertility. Her upcoming exhibition “Lay me Low” will focus on aspects of archeology and excavation.
