Welcome to the opening of the exhibition Slow is a Verb — The Young Curators’ Reading Room at Nitja’s project room!

Slow is a Verb — The Young Curators’ Reading Room invites audiences into a space that opens up for various reflections on interpersonal relationships. The reading room is a space to relax and spend time whether alone or in company.

The exhibition is curated by Young Curators, a group of nine young people between the ages of 16-22, and developed as part Young Curators Mentorship, a collaboration between Nitja and PRAKSIS.

In connection with the opening, the publication Reaching Out will be launched. Visitors can also participate in a drop-in workshop with graphic designer João Doria de Souza.

The Young Curators 2025-2026 are: Anahita Mollazehi, Assol Sokolova, Auguste Karsokaite, Bror Høgåsen-Hallesby, Helen Ibrahimian, Hibo Nora Abbi, Ingrid Bjermeland Hesledalen, Noah Visted, Sofia Orellana Gamboa.
