The exhibition "Particular Universal" at Nitja showcases works by artists who incorporate sound into their practices, with key themes of landscape, identity, and memory. With this backdrop, the evening's conversation is titled "The sound of a place," featuring author Ayesha Wolasmal and artist and composer Knut Olaf Sunde.

Wolasmal recently published the book "A Thousand Nights with the Taliban", and artist Knut Olaf Sunde is participating in "Particular Universal" with the video essay "Memory of Oblivion", where auditory explorations of Castro Marim serve as the starting point.

Throughout the conversation, we will explore how sound shapes our experience of places, and how the sound of a landscape, a city, or a memory can reflect the often hidden stories and experiences that exist there.

The event is open to all. Participation is included in the entry.
