The exhibition shows sculptures made in different materials such as textile, metal, wood.
Brodersen works with the room and what happens between the sculptures and the sound of the materials. The bronze figures are shaped directly in wax before being cast. Nature and its protection is a central theme.
Kristine Brodersen (53) lives and works in Oslo, Kviteseid and Skåne. Education: Statens Håndverks og Kunstindustriskole in Oslo 73-76, Statens Artakademi in Oslo 76-79, Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm 79-81. She has exhibited in Oslo Kunstforening, Galleri Ram, Kunstnerforbundet and Galleri Heer in Oslo, Hå Gamle Prestegård in Rogaland, Konstnärshuset in Stockholm, Trondheim Art Association and Buskerud Kunstsenter. She has also had a number of decorating assignments. Brodersen has been purchased by Riksgalleriet in Norway, Statens Konstråd in Sweden, Norwegian Cultural Council, Örebro kommune, and Dalarnas Museum.
