May Bente Aronsen, Gerd Tinglum, Harald Fenn, Zdenka Rusova, Marika MäkeläKunstverket's summer exhibition Abstractsjoner opens in Hovedøya Kunstsal 4 July. Right next to the ferry on Hovedøya, 7 minutes by boat from Rådhuskaia/Aker Brygge, is the country's largest half-timbered building, Lavetthuset, which after almost 20 years of gallery operation has become a central exhibition place for art in Oslo during the summer months.
In this year's summer exhibition we present works by 5 well-established artists in their respective fields. May Bente Aronsen shows two new installations mounted freely in the room, Gerd Tinglum shows works from the Overpaintings series, Harald Fenn presents new paintings in the Forgotten Landscapes series, Zdenka Rusova shows new works in dry point and Marika Mäkelä is represented with the series Structures and Human history in etching/aquatint.
