Through sculptural interventions, Die Pleite draws on the logic and ethics of bankruptcy estates to open a dialogue with the history and architecture of Kunstnernes Hus. The exhibition explores the tensions between what is valued and what is left over; ideas of freedom confront the modern project's need for categorization and systematization.
