In February 2023 Kunstnernes Hus presents a solo exhibition by the Norwegian-Sudanese artist Ahmed Umar. In his artistic practice, Umar examines conflicts relating to identity, religion, and cultural values through different modes of artistic expression. He uses his personal experiences as a tool to convey stories of silencing and alienation, but also of liberation and owning your own history.

All common areas on the first floor and in the skylight halls are accessible via stairs at the front and an elevator at the back of the building. Elevator footprint: 240 x 88 cm. Kunstnernes Hus Kino is wheelchair accessible in front of the amphitheater, approximately 4 meters from the screen. At the reception on the first floor you will find an accessible toilet.
