Ahmed Umar came to Norway as a political refugee in 2008 and has since made a great career as an artist. In 2015, he emerged as Sudan's first openly gay man, which led to a massive outrage in the Sudanese society and made it life-threatening for him to visit his home country. In this documentary, we join Ahmed Umar and director Ibrahim Mursal on a dangerous journey to his motherland.
After the film, there will be a conversation between Ahmed Umar, Ibrahim Mursal and the artist Fadlabi.
