Welcome to the Academy's room and a collaborative exhibition that explores installation through distinct but complementary artistic practices rooted in natural materials and processes.
Gulliksen shows selected works from a sequence of lithographs – a series with multiple variations in layering and color under changing light, accompanied by video and a synth soundscape. Mariani examines soil as a raw material and presents photographic soil chromatographies, a hand-woven textile installation colored with geothermal pigments.
Together, their works create a space for contemplation, where they explore the spiritual and environmental dimensions of nature’s processes.
The exhibition opens Thursday 13.03. 18:00-20:00 and can be seen Friday 14.03. through Sunday 16.03. 13:00-17:00.
The exhibition is part of KHiO QuARTerly and is free of charge.
