Welcome to a special screening of Israel Palestine on Swedish TV 1958-1989 by the award winning filmmaker Göran Hugo Olsson (The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975, Concerning Violence). This rich and sensitive 200 minutes long documentary is based entirely on SVT’s archives and explores their media coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict over two decades.

The screening is introduced by Jørgen Jensehaugen, senior researcher at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).

The event is arranged in collaboration with Visit Vestbredden and Oslo Dokumentarkino. There will be a 10 minute break during the screening. Refreshments by Visit Vestbredden festival afterwards.
