Johanne falls head over heels in love with her French teacher. In an attempt to preserve the good feeling, she writes down everything she experiences. When her mother and grandmother get to read what she has written, they first react with shock at the intimate descriptions, then become captivated by the book's literary qualities. But what has actually happened between Johanne and the teacher? And is it the case that this should be published as a book?

This is the second film in Haugerud's trilogy Sex Dreams Love - three independent films about desire, identity and the longing for freedom.
