How do we support ideologies of beauty? Which rituals are important to us? What cosmetic ideals/standards/economies do we uphold and aspire towards? How is craft connected to beauty rituals?

Beauty Rituals is a collective installation work, combining four material practices and perspectives. Navigating the landscape of beauty is inherently political: prompting debates around feminism, economy, and privilege.

The exhibition is a part of KHiO QuARTerly, opens Friday 2nd of May and can be viewed until Sunday 4th of May.
