Robel Temesgen's solo exhibition of new paintings Practising Water is the first manifestation of the artist's long term research project exploring the spiritual connection between bodies of water and the humans around them. This phase of the project focuses in particular on the artist's homeland of Ethiopia, observing relationships between people and place, and developing a visual language and vocabulary around them.
