Kunstpodden Live: The Interdisciplinary Art Book
Free entrance in the Large Auditorium, 1st floor.

Participating: Terje Abusdal, Amalie Vestergaard Olsen og Cecilie Tyri Holt

How to create an interdisciplinary art book that weaves together gender studies, folklore, history, and social discourse? In the Norwegian book Forbannet flokk (2026, blackCap), art historian and host of the podcast Kunstpodden Cecilie Tyri Holt explores environments where the construction of images of “the enemy” is cultivated, and where artistic expressions of magic and marginalization are fostered. At Kunstpodden Live during Kunstbok Oslo, she will talk to visual artists Terje Abusdal and Amalie Vestergaard Olsen, both of whom are featured in the book.

This conversation will be recorded as an episode of Kunstpodden and streamed live on The National Library TV as a part of Kunstbok Oslo.
