Mesén and the Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute invite you to a performance with the Helsinki-based artist Sasha Huber during Oslo Culture Night 13 September. “Stripped Down to the Bones” will be shown twice and a panel discussion will be organized after the last showing:
18.00 Performance
19.00 Performance
19.30 Panel discussion
Location: Main hall, 1st floor, Bankplassen 4, Oslo
“Stripped Down to the Bones” is a performance about power, silencing, and identity. Huber directs the audience's attention to structures in our society where the boundary between visible and invisible is blurred. To the meditative and eerie sound of a shredding machine, large human forms will appear in the empty museum space. This is the first time the artwork is shown in Norway. The performance will take place in the monumental space of the former Museum of Contemporary Art at Bankplassen 4.
