The magazine Pist Protta is an institution on the Danish art scene. Rather than simply a magazine about art, it is an art project in and of itself. Since their inception in 1981, they have never used the same format twice. Their most recent issue, number 97 ("Syvoghalvfems"), takes the Guttormsgaard Archive as its point of departure. Its launch will be celebrated with an exhibition-cum-festival of sorts. The editors – Jesper Fabricius, Åse Eg Jørgensen and Jesper Rasmussen – will be present in the archive all weekend. All issues of Pist Protta will be available for browsing, and the editorial team has even promised to bring some rarities from 2031. Artistic intelligence (AI) on paper clearly has a future.
