Experience this year’s most exciting gathering of artists at GalleryLab in Romsås. From more than 130 applicants, the jury – in collaboration with Kunstnerforbundet – has selected 27 artists and 36 artworks, each with their own unique expressions, backgrounds, stories, and perspectives on contemporary life.

Here, painting, photography, video, sculpture, textile art, and installation art meet at Oslo’s newest arena for contemporary art.
ØSTUTSTILLINGEN is more than just an exhibition – it is a snapshot of the vibrant art scene in Oslo’s eastern districts, where new voices are given space and established artists find fresh inspiration.

The Open Call for artists connected to Groruddalen was sent out before the summer and received an overwhelming response. Around 350 artworks were submitted for jurying, and we are very proud of the 27 selected artists who will be presented in ØSTUTSTILLINGEN 2025.
