An empath is a person with a particular ability of perceiving and absorbing the emotional state of another human being, a kind of empathic hyper-sensitivity. The paintings of Inga Sund Hofset all have their individual character, but they are connected, they integrate with each other. Hofset investigates what abstraction involves. She follows a process oriented methodology in the way she constructs her paintings, and switches between expressive, emotional and logical, dry approaches.
