Karin Keisu (1995, Juoksengi) & Josse Thuresson's (1992, Stockholm) first solo exhibition in Norway, "Sibel Diamond Blond, Lunar Tides Juniper Green", reflects on queer space-making in relation to normative barbershops and hair salons. Through an archive of bleached towels and a text work, the exhibition highlights the potential and necessity of spaces that operate on the margins of the majority society’s limiting ideas of beauty, identity, and time.

In parallel with the exhibition, the artists' film "Back to Back" (2022) is screened. The film is part of the artists' long-term work on the construction of the nation-state and its conceptions of the desirable citizen. The film is based on the artists' first languages, Swedish Sign Language and Meänkieli (a language related to Kven), which were forbidden in Swedish schools in the 20th century.
