Based on recent discussions about diversity, representation and accountability in the field of art and culture, Fotogalleriet has invited the organisation Skeiv Verden to an institutional “take-over” in early 2022. The project is the first of its kind in a public art institution in Norway, with president of Skeiv Verden, Bassel Hatoum, as curator.
The invited artists and speakers all work on issues of safety, protection, visibility, community, tactility and embodied experience.
