Ronja Gravklev is an Oslo-based artist originally from Gvarv in Telemark, Norway, who often works with video as her primary artistic medium. In the video work I Am Alone (2024), Gravklev explores parents’ experiences of having children who feel lonely.
The work consists of three parts. The first presents several people of different ages repeating a text. The second is a recorded conversation between the artist and her mother. The third shows a young girl reading the text, followed by a montage accompanied by a repeated audio track composed of anonymized archival material.
The work is exhibited on the fourth floor of Deichman Bjørvika, in the Art section.
