The 20th century turned the world upside down: two world wars, Cold War, radical technological development, and the rise of globalism all made central pieces in the establishment of a new order. Rooted in the wars of the past Frithjof Hoel has created an allegorical display of the conflicted time in which we are living; through installation, painting, and sculpture he is thus inviting the audience to investigate our present and our past from a different perspective.
