The video installation «Proofless Sates of Being» by Helene Sommer and Ole Christian Ellensrud is a poetic reflection on scientific research. With the history of psychiatry as its point of departure, the film, set at Gaustad Hospital and the University of Oslo, refers to events that bear witness to the complicated power balance between subject and object within institutions of science.
