Klara Sofie Ludvigsen (b.1983) works with large format photography and analogue processes. In her latest work she explores how form can claim more space in the photographic language: By interrupting the familiar she hopes that the viewer will slow down the pace of looking. She intends to let improvisation take a large part in her artistic practice, constantly looking for ways to open up for unexpected results in the darkroom. Klara Sofie Ludvigsen lives and works in Bergen, where she is co-founder of the darkroom collective Fotoverkstedet.
