Kunsthall Oslo is very pleased to present the first solo exhibition by the Norwegian-Yemeni artist Dina Al-Makhrami. The Wind Will Carry Us brings together a selection of the photographs and films she has made over the past four years, in Brazil, Yemen, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Egypt, and Morocco.

Al-Makhrami is motivated by questions around identity formation and culture, but equally by curiosity; with her interest in difference comes an interest in ordinariness, in the everyday in its myriad forms, and in the small moments of transcendence and beauty that illuminate it.
