Beng Yuenyong was born in Bangkok, Thailand, but moved to the Netherlands at a young age. He grew up in The Hague and graduated in 2017 from the ArtScience department (BA) at the Royal Academy of Art. Raised in a Thai household, his mother introduced him to Buddhist temples in the Netherlands, where he engaged with Thai culture and Buddhism.
