In a small studio at Tøyen, thirteen artists have met over a period of ten years to discuss photography—both technically and conceptually—and how these aspects come together in a personal practice. Over time, they have influenced each other in reciprocal ways, regardless of differences in experience, age and taste. In the past six months, the conversation has continued at 69, where they have gathered regularly to share works-in-progress, revisit earlier discussions, and challenge one another’s approaches. These sessions have gradually taken shape as «13 forsøk på kontroll» opening June 6th, presenting various works around the subject of photography.
