With ceramics as ‘canvas’, Heidi Bjørgan experiments with glazes and colours, resulting in the luscious and expressive. Keywords associated with her works are presence, power, collapse, and balance between deformity and attractiveness. Bjørgan’s exhibitions often take the form of total installations, and in a quest for atmosphere and scenography she’s inspired by film and music. The title, borrowed from Roky Erickson, reflects the impression of the show: A feeling of having been here before.
