In 2024, it will be 400 years since the medieval city of Oslo burned down and Christiania was founded in what is now Kvadraturen. Artist Sille Storihle was commissioned to create an anniversary artwork through an open call initiated by Oslo Municipality's Art Collection (Kulturetaten). The result is a film now being shown at several Deichman libraries. Kunstnernes Hus invites you to an exclusive screening of the film, followed by an artist talk between Sille and Film Curator Abirami Logendran.
This event is free and open to all, organized in collaboration with Oslo Municipality's Art Collection.
